I spent the weekend trying to walk a 19 year old thru ‘end of life’ decisions for his mom. She is not able to make them… the disease has taken her mind. I don’t think she’s even 40. He and his little sister are growing up fast.
When you foster a kid, you house them for a few days, months or more. If they learn to trust you, they come back (as my bio’s would) when there are tough decisions to be made. I can’t think of anything harder than ordering a DNR for your mother at any age. I hope he can be at peace with the decisions he makes.
Prayers folks, please pray for the young one and his little sister to ease the pain they will deal with in the next few days, and their mom! And peace for them all.
Oh my goodness, how sad, and so heavy of a burden for small people, little children (for we are all children too) and I'm sending prayers for them and for you. Oh how tragic...........No other family to help? Oh my heart is with you..........
